Benefit Concert for Minneapolis Non-Profits
There will be a benefit concert on Friday, June 24th for two local Minneapolis non-profits. Dress up and Dress for Success will be the 2 companies to receive the proceeds. Both businesses are non-profits that help financially troubled people get wardrobes and find jobs. Rachael Leigh Cook will be the host and Kay Hanley will be the main performer as well as some local talent. The concert starts at 6 and Kay Hanley (Letters to Cleo) will start around 8:30. Target will be donating the beverages that can be purchased and donation buckets will be around.
Dress for Success is a non-profit that helps impoverished women get new or used clothing for jobs. Dress for Success also helps the women find jobs and stay active in a support group. The company is local to the Twin City area.

Dress Up is a non-profit organization. Dress Up is offering a way to lease a brand new professional wardrobe. Potential college graduates owing more than $20,000 on student loans are the clients-to-be. Dana Keck the owner and operator came up with the idea in a class while attending the Art Institute International Minnesota. After graduation she found investors and received the funds to start the business in Minneapolis.
